In this unit, you will develop advanced music performance skills through the preparation and presentation of performance materials such as technical work, studies, solo and collaborative repertoire, suitable for third year tertiary level. You will continue to develop your personal artistic identity, while exploring practice-led artistic research methods relevant to your chosen instrument/practice.

Learning outcomes
- Demonstrate advanced instrumental/vocal technique, including control of rhythm, articulation, accuracy, timbre, dynamics and intonation (where applicable);
- Prepare and present performance materials including solo repertoire and/or collaborative repertoire that builds upon technical and creative skills suitable for third year tertiary level
- Demonstrate musicianship and/or creativity, including appropriate artistic expression, improvisation and/or technology as suitable for a third year tertiary level;
- Articulate and draw upon practice-led artistic research methods relevant to your performance practice.
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher directed learning, peer directed learning and online engagement.
