Last checked: 23 Aug 2026 UTCOverview
In your final year of the PPE degree, you will apply your newly-aquired skills and knowledge to real-world problems. This experiential learning-based unit focuses on the issue of inequality: where does it come from, how can we measure it, and what – if anything – should we do about it? Drawing on your own and staff members’ networks, and interacting with stakeholders and actors beyond the classroom, will challenge you to identify and define a problem related to inequality; and, as an emerging leader, to use the concepts and skills learned during your PPE degree to develop a creative policy proposal to effect positive change. Following the completion of this capstone unit, you will leave Monash able to demonstrate aptitude in core workplace skills desired by employers.
