This capstone unit consolidates professional public relations knowledge and skills through practical experience with 'real life' organisations. Working in teams, you develop public relations campaigns for not-for-profit organisations over the course of the semester, culminating in presentations to the organisations, students and mentors at an end-of-semester conference. You learn about strategy development, client management, effective teamwork, program research, planning, design and evaluation as well as budgeting and scheduling.

- Research and develop appropriate public relations strategies for an organisation;
- Work effectively as a team member to produce a professional oral presentation and written report;
- Apply professionalism and ethical behaviour in the context of communication.
