In this unit, you will apply the skills learned across the core units in the Bachelor of Criminology degree. Leading industry experts will identify key emerging challenges in their fields, which will inform the area of focus for your assessments. Emphasis is placed on the development of skills in critically evaluating research, planning, communicating results, working as part of a team, and managing professional relationships. You will be assessed both individually and in teams. You will develop an understanding of, and proficiency in, applied research design in criminal justice practice. You will learn how to write for different audiences, including for policy and industry, as well as academic requirements around the reporting of research results.
