In this unit, you will develop advanced skills in performance by realising a non-placement Industry Engagement (IE) project. You will critically examine potential employment pathways and refine methods for managing and refine methods for presenting, marketing and promoting an individual project. Through development of your electronic press kit and a live presentation of an industry focused pitch, you will establish foundational connections to a future field of practice.

- utilise persuasive communication skills to create a live industry focused pitch that reflects your future goals and/or professional ambitions;
- create and present your self-expressed professional identity and vision in the form of an electronic press kit;
- employ project management and leadership skills in a music production ensemble environment.
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. A unit requires on average three/four hours of scheduled activities per week. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher directed learning, peer directed learning and online engagement.
