In this unit you will gain first-hand experience of parliamentary structures and processes. You will focus on Australian politics to develop your understanding and skills in public policy. You will work under the overall supervision of a member of the Politics and International Relations section and under the supervision of a Member of the Victorian Parliament.

- apply research and disciplinary knowledge in a practical setting;
- critically reflect upon the parliamentary internship experience;
- utilise research skills to analyse complex public policy matters;
- present research findings and arguments in a Parliamentary Intern Report.
