Learning outcomes
- identify and discuss key thinkers and philosophies of the European intellectual tradition;
- articulate and apply theoretical frameworks in the analysis of cultural texts regarding human induced effects on the environment;
- conduct a research project and communicate findings in an oral, written or multimedia response;
- assess the relevance of theoretical frameworks as applied to potential research projects.
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study.
