Catalysing change is about turning ideas into action. In this unit, you’ll explore how to support others, energise teams, and facilitate change in ways that are thoughtful, inclusive, and responsive to real-world contexts, whether in communities, organisations, or broader systems. You’ll develop skills in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and leadership. You’ll consider what it means to lead with others, not by directing, but by listening, adapting, and building shared purpose. Through case studies and collaborative projects, you’ll practise moving shared ideas and initiatives into action, while navigating the uncertainties and complexities that come with implementation. This unit encourages you to think relationally and act ethically. It helps you build the practical, interpersonal, and reflective skills needed to inform and inspire others, guide collective efforts, and stay responsive as challenges evolve, with an openness to feedback, adjustment, and learning from what unfolds.
