Overview

This unit will enable you to develop the skills required to conceive and deliver an applied research project in environmental earth science. You will develop and carry out a research project in collaboration with other students on a key topic that is of relevance to industry, government or non-government organisations. The topic will be chosen by the students from a list provided by the unit coordinator. This unit will allow you to develop your research skills in earth sciences while working in team in developing a research project, formulating hypotheses and aims, collecting and analysing data, and interpreting and describing the implications of the results. The presentation of the final results will develop presentation and written skills.
