This unit will introduce students to theoretical and practical aspects of learning and teaching. After reflecting on their educational philosophy, participants will apply theories, concepts, terms and processes of curriculum design to their own learning contexts. Students will then implement, assess and evaluate learning activities in selected clinical and other relevant settings.

- Develop a strategy for further learning as a health professional educator.
Workload
This unit will be delivered entirely online through the Monash Moodle learning management system. Activities include readings, pre-recorded lectures, online discussions, interactive sessions via Zoom cloud conferencing, self-directed learning and completion of assignments. Students will be expected to engage online in a unit related workshop, 3 hours a fortnight. Additional directed study (readings, engagement in online discussions, and reflective written work will comprise 104 hours).
