Overview

The social issues that you read about in the news and on social media also come into play within organisations. In this unit you will explore how social issues influence organising and in turn how organising influences social issues. Adopting diverse theoretical perspectives, this unit will give you the tools to challenge the status quo and analyse how we might solve complex social issues. This unit will allow you to reflect on and analyse a range of ethical, social and cultural challenges confronting organisations and society today. Assessments will encourage you to consider multiple sources of knowledge and to articulate your knowledge both in written text and visually.
