Overview

Understanding and communicating research is integral to being a podiatrist. This unit will provide you with the opportunity to select and conduct an independent research project over 12 months with academic supervision. This unit builds on your knowledge about research design and data analysis within the podiatry profession. You will be supported in crafting a research question, selecting the most appropriate methods to answer this question, deciding the most relevant data to collect and critically analyse. Finally, you will be discussing your findings in the podiatry context and developing with a conclusion that may add new knowledge in your area of research. You will be required to disseminate your research findings to diverse groups
