The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is a professional degree which satisfies the academic requirements for admission to practise as an Australian lawyer. It is also a preparation for diverse careers in and beyond the law, and offers pathways to graduate studies. The course provides advanced and integrated knowledge of the principal areas of legal practice, legal concepts and broader perspectives about the law. This Bachelor of Psychology is designed for those who wish understand the complexities of human behaviour and the biological, psychological and social factors that contribute to individual group and community processes. You will learn about how psychological, social and personality factors influence thinking and behaviour as well as how interventions can be applied to help people lead more satisfying and meaningful lives.
Structure
You must complete 156 credit points comprising all units in Part A and 72 credit points from Part B, as described in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree. Note. You must complete 54 credit points of units from Part A as described in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree before undertaking law elective units.
You must complete 96 credit points from the Bachelor of Psychology, including all of the requirements in Part A and 36 credit points from Part B (which must include PSY1013). Note: the unit PSY3034 is not available to double degree students.
