After the Allocate+ preference entry period closes, the system reopens for you to make final adjustments to your timetable. It's first-come, first-served during the adjustment period, so if you want to make changes to your timetable or submit a swap request, do so as soon as possible.
Allocate+ confirms your changes immediately if spaces are available. Moodle updates can take up to 24 hours if you make a change after the teaching weeks have started (you won't be able to access online tutorials until it does).
Check Allocate+ dates for when the system is open to make adjustments.
Checking your timetable
To check your timetable:
- Log into Allocate+
- Click Timetable in the menu (top right of your screen).
Your class activities are listed on the left of the screen, with their allocation method in brackets. During the adjustment period, you can:
- make changes to units with the ADJUST allocation method
- check units without an allocated activity (those with the SELECT allocation method)
- request a swap into an activity that is full
- remove yourself from an activity.
Enrolment changes
If you change your units in WES during the adjustment period, it'll take two hours for the changes to show in Allocate+. Also, unit changes made by your faculty may take a few days to appear. Keep an eye on Allocate+ and once the changes appear:
- select your unit activities using the available timeslots
- see the solutions on our fix timetables page if you have any issues.
Making changes to units with the ADJUST allocation method
- Click the unit activity that you want to change. (The green Allocated button shows the current time slot for the activity).
- Pick another time slot using the Select button.
You don't need to manually remove yourself from the allocated activity. The system automatically does this for you when you select another activity.
Once you've made another selection, a message appears confirming the change.
Your new time slot will show as Allocated.

Checking units without an allocated activity
To check your units without an allocated activity:
- Click the activities that have the SELECT allocation method.
- Review the available timeslots.
- Pick another timeslot and click Select.
Once you've selected a new timetslot, you'll see a message confirming the change. Your new timeslot will show as Allocated.
Removing yourself from an activity
If you're allocated to an activity and you click Select on another activity, the system will automatically remove you from the first activity. Alternatively, you can click on the bin icon to remove yourself from an activity.
Review and monitor your timetable
Once you've made your changes, it's a good idea to review your timetable again to make sure you're happy with it. If you have any issues, see fix timetable problems.
Make sure you monitor your student email and Allocate+ throughout the adjustment period, as faculties may notify you of changes to unit activities. If they cancel an activity, they'll try to add you to another available timeslot.
At the end of the adjustment period, the timetable you see in Allocate+ will be your final timetable – you won’t be able to make any further changes.
Time zone
You can see details of the time zone for your scheduled activities in Allocate+. If you look at the list view of your timetable, you’ll notice a time zone of either Australia/Melbourne, Asia/Shanghai or Asia/Kuala_Lumpur. No matter where you are in the world, you can view your timetable in your local time zone by using the subscribe to your timetable link at the bottom of the Allocate+ home page. Once you’ve subscribed to your timetable and you’re allocated into activities, they’ll appear in your local time.
