Exam feedback

Arrangement for seeking feedback on exams after the publication of results

Introduction

In each unit, arrangements will be made to provide general feedback to students on what the examiners were looking for in answer to each exam question, and how students performed. The feedback may be provided in a session held after release of results, or may be provided by way of exemplar student answers or examiner's notes.

You should take time to reflect on the feedback provided. You will find it useful to make some notes about how the feedback provided suggests ways your work could have been improved or strengthened. In particular, you should identify the three most significant things you could have done to achieve a higher mark and why you think those things are the most significant in the context of the feedback provided.

You can find written advice about how to learn from feedback on the Monash Student Academic Success website. You can also book in for a 1 on 1 student academic success consultation to work through strategies about learning from feedback.

Request a copy of your examination scripts

The application form to receive a copy of your exam scripts is located in the relevant drop down boxes below. The form is open for a set period of time after results release and late applications cannot be accepted. For the opening and closing dates of the form please refer to the tables below.

Undergraduate

Submit your request via the Undergraduate Exam Script Form and the responses will be emailed to students within 10 business days of the application closing date. If the form shows an error message about not having permission, please log out of all Gmail accounts, then log into only your Monash Student account, before trying again.

Postgraduate

Submit your request via the Postgraduate Exam Script Form and the responses will be emailed to students within 10 business days of the application closing date. If the form shows an error message about not having permission, please log out of all Gmail accounts, then log into only your Monash Student account, before trying again.

Important Information

1. Exam Scripts will be emailed to students within 10 business days of the application closing date.
2. Please note that the scripts DO NOT contain any comments or feedback from exam markers.
3. If incorrect student or unit information is provided in your application, there may be delays in retrieving the paper.
