Semester One final exams will take the form of eExams with online supervision.

Here are some frequently asked questions.

1. What if I don’t have an appropriate device/access to technology for my exam?

A range of measures are in place to support students who may not have the devices necessary to complete eExams.

Students who are concerned that their device does not meet requirements can request a device at no cost - this includes second devices when this is necessary for studies and assessments such as eExams.

To request a device: contact Monash Connect at monash.edu/connect/contact-us or (03) 9902 6011.

2. Can I do my exam/s on campus?

If you have been scheduled an off-campus final assessment and you don’t have a suitable space or technological requirements at home to sit your exams, you can request a place on campus to sit your exams.

To request an on-campus exam: Submit an application for special arrangements or contact Monash Connect at monash.edu/connect/contact-us

3. What options are available if I have a disability?

Students with disabilities may apply for alternative assessment arrangements, as is usual practice.

This process is overseen by Disability Support Services and implemented by Monash University Online Assessment & Integrity Services, the part of the University responsible for administering end-of-semester exams.

To learn more: make contact with Disability Support Services.

4. What if I experience technical difficulties during my eExam?

If you’re new to eExams, watch the eExams: An introduction video and test drive a general knowledge practice eExam. You should also visit the Off-campus exams website to learn how the online supervision works so you know what to expect.

If you experience any difficulties (technical or otherwise) on the day, contact the Exam Support hotline on + 61 3 9905 4300. eSolutions Service Desk on +61 3 9903 2777.

If your internet connection drops out during your eExam – your eExam responses are automatically saved every 30 seconds.

Students who experience serious disruption during their exams (for example, a technological issue) may apply for special consideration in the usual way.
