Student concerns and complaints

From the classroom to campus life, your experience matters. We're committed to creating a safe, respectful and positive environment for all students.

If something doesn’t feel right, we’re here to support you. Find out how you can raise a concern or lodge a complaint about your university experience.

Academic and administrative complaints

Report an issue related to faculty and admin services (e.g. teaching quality, assessment adjustments, fees and timetabling), or other University services (including data protection, admissions, library, accommodation, health services and Monash Connect).

Submit and resolve a complaint Get step-by-step guidance on raising a concern, resolving an issue locally, and making a formal complaint if needed. Learn where to start, what to do if the issue isn't resolved, and how to escalate it through the University's complaints process.

Assessment complaints Find out when you can request a correction to an assessment mark or grade, what types of marking and grading errors can be reviewed and the steps to submit a complaint. You'll also find information about re-marking, key deadlines, and more.

Feedback on your assessments Learn where to access feedback on your assessments and what feedback is available after results are released. Learn how to view your final assessment responses and request further feedback if needed.
