Neurodiverse Resource Centre We celebrate who you are
At Monash we strive for a diverse community where everyone feels safe to bring their whole self to study, and where campus life is accessible to all. We support neurodiverse students and we celebrate them for who they are.
In keeping with this vision, the Neurodiverse Resource Centre presents programs and groups that support neurodiverse students at Monash. This list will expand as more programs are developed.
We encourage neurodiverse students requiring academic adjustments, such as extra days to complete assignments and/or more time during exams, to register for disability support services.

In keeping with this vision, the Neurodiverse Resource Centre has listed below various programs and groups that support neurodiverse students at Monash. This list will expand as more programs are developed.
Programs and groups supporting neurodiversity
- ADHD support group Join other students with a formal diagnosis of ADHD to learn more about this condition and share your challenges and triumphs in a safe and supportive space. Contact your disability adviser for more information about these weekly meetings.
- Wellbeing Hub Come sit and take a break from hectic campus life in the calming, soothing and welcoming environment of the Wellbeing Hub. The Hub has various amenities, including sensory toys and aids, and access to mental health support and information.
- ADHD social catch-up for graduate students Catch up casually with like-minded graduate students with a formal diagnosis of ADHD. The group is purely social – not for counselling or coaching. Express your interest in this monthly event run by Disability Support Services.
- Student Academic Success Book a one-on-one consultation with a learning adviser to get help with time management, planning your assessments, study strategies, critical thinking, and other study-related issues.
- GradWISE program This customised coaching program gives students living with a disability, illness or injury the skills and experience to find the perfect graduate job. GradWISE can offer you individual support to boost your employment opportunities.
- Undergrad Autistic Social Catch-Up This is an informal lunch-time social catch up for Autistic undergraduate students who would like to connect with like-minded students. Express your interest in this monthly event run by Disability Support Services.
Quiet spaces
- Monash Sport quiet space This is a safe, sensory-friendly space for those seeking some quiet and calm. Located on the Ground Floor 42 Scenic Boulevard, Clayton campus.
- Library low-sensory study space Located on level 2 of the Hargrave-Andrew Library, this is a quiet area with low lighting and frosted windows for privacy.
