Intake periods (Monash Malaysia)

Our intake periods are when you complete your Monash Malaysia course enrolment before starting classes. Our major intakes commence in February and July, while our minor intakes for some courses through a special enrolment sequence start in October.

Here, you’ll find all the information you need to enrol smoothly. Each intake period begins after a series of important deadlines that you must meet to enrol successfully. The deadlines differ for Malaysian, International, and Medical degree students.

The important deadline dates to note ahead of each intake period are the application, late application, offer acceptance, late acceptance and course enrolment (when our intakes begin).

It is important to note that the start of our intake periods is also when Orientation Week begins, so you’ll get plenty of help to enrol and the chance to join in some great activities!

February intake (Semester 1)

How to apply

1. Check the course details and the university’s requirements here.
2. Submit the Online Application Form with supporting documents.

After you apply

1. If successful, you‘ll receive an offer letter with a credit letter (if any) and other supporting documents via email.

Accept your offer and enrolment

1. Submit these documents to us via our Finance Helpdesk or directly at the Finance Counter, Monash University Malaysia, before the offer lapse date as stated in the offer letter :
2. If you cannot accept the offer by the given lapse date, you are advised to write to the Admissions and Student Pass Office to request a lapse date extension or change of intake. You can send an email to mum.admissions@monash.edu.
3. Malaysian students can proceed with enrolment once they have accepted the offer and submitted the required documents.
4. International students must obtain a valid Student Pass before they are eligible to complete their course enrolment and commence their studies.
