  • What you'll needSetting up your exam spaceYou’ll need a space where you can sit your eExam under exam conditions (conditions that are very similar to what you’d expect in an assessment venue). You’ll need a quiet private room with a door. We suggest that you let your friends and family know that you’re sitting your exam and require a private quiet space for the duration of the eExam. Put a sign on your door asking people to come back later and turn your voicemail on.The room must have good lighting, but light must not shine directly onto your webcam. If you have a closed-book exam:You’ll need to upload photographs of your exam space when instructed by your online supervisor.During the examWhat to do on the day

  • a blue or black pen, or HB or 2B pencil
  • blank A4 paper
  • a smartphone to take photos of your answers and upload them
  1. Log into the eExam platform using your Monash username and password.
  2. Navigate to your unit’s eExam – you may not be able to see the eExam link in the platform until two business days before your scheduled exam. Copy the eExam link and paste it into an Incognito Window in Google Chrome (you’ll be prompted to log in again). You’ll then be guided to connect with your online supervisor in a virtual waiting room.
  3. Wait for your supervisor to meet and greet you. Make sure you’re ready to show the supervisor your ID and exam environment.
