01 Understand your course Business courses can consist of 3–4 parts, depending on your course. As a commencing student, start by focusing on Part A: your core units. If you have credit or exemptions for Part A, you can move on to your major or Part B units.Check your course and unit requirements in the Monash Handbook using your course title or course code.
02 Choose your units and major Explore your unit options in the Monash Handbook, including your major, electives and other course requirements. Not sure about your major? You usually have time to decide during your first year. Need help? Visit our briefings page or speak to our Course Advisors via Monash Connect Malaysia.
03 Check & plan your units Use the Course Map Tool to plan your units across each semester and check your course progression. Refer to the Monash Handbook for unit offerings and prerequisite requirements. The Course Map Tool is the required planning tool for Business students.
04 Enrol and Attend Classes Once you're happy with your course map, enrol in your units through WES. Before enrolling, make sure your units meet your course requirements, are offered in the relevant semester and satisfy any prerequisite requirements.Already enrolled but need to make a change? You can change your units during Orientation, subject to the relevant enrolment and change-of-unit deadlines.
