I am very glad to have enrolled into the Pharmacy Pathfinder Program (PPP) before beginning my studies in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours). During the first few sessions, we were introduced to Moodle, the website we would use throughout our studies. Besides, we were presented to the three stages in the education structure in Monash University. This starts off with discovery, where we were provided with learning materials. This was then followed by interactive lectures, where the content was further elaborated, and we were encouraged to raise any queries related to the topic. Finally, we worked on relevant case scenarios during workshops, where we applied our knowledge and hone our problem-solving skills. PPP not only gave me a very good insight into how the course is structured here in Monash University, it was a great opportunity as we were privileged to have had numerous speakers, who are experts in their field, to share their valuable experience with us. Apart from that, we even had hands-on workshops. Personally, the most memorable experience was being able to make our own bottle of hand-sanitiser. To sum it all, I thoroughly enjoyed the short but extremely memorable time in PPP. It truly set me on my way towards university life here in Monash Malaysia. I hope many future pharmacy students can enrol and reap the benefits from this program. Fan Jiun Wye (2022 BPharm cohort)
