The census date is when the University finalises your enrolment. Once the census date has passed, you’re liable for fees and incur academic penalties.
Students should check the information on the unit census dates webpage before they choose to discontinue from units (to prevent the academic and financial penalties applied).
For more information, see:
- More about census dates and teaching periods
- Academic and financial penalties
- Arts units: Non-standard dates (specifically for the MCMS block mode (A or B) units)
