Supported by global partnerships

REACH Hub is funded through the Advancing Research for Climate and Health (ARCH) initiative; a joint partnership between the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada, and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). This initiative supports regional hubs around the world to address the urgent and growing challenges of climate change on health. As of now, REACH is the only hub in Asia under ARCH, enabling collaborative research and capacity-building across South and Southeast Asia.

7 Essential Steps for Submitting Your Application

Step 1

Review the

Call Guidelines

Carefully read the funding call details, including thematic priorities, eligibility criteria, scope, and budget parameters. Ensure your proposal aligns with our focus on climate-health research in South and Southeast Asia.

Step 2

Prepare Your Expression of Interest (EOI)

Gather the required documentation demonstrating your organisation and project team’s eligibility. This includes any supporting materials specified in the Call Guidelines.

Step 3

Submit Your EOI via the Application Form (Completed)

Complete and upload your Expression of Interest through the official REACH application portal by 14 December 2025, 23:59 (MYT). Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Step 4

EOI Evaluation

All EOIs will be reviewed against the published eligibility criteria. Only applicants who meet all requirements will be invited to submit a full proposal.

Step 5

Invitation to Submit Full Proposal

Shortlisted applicants will receive an invitation to proceed to the full proposal stage. Detailed instructions and timelines will be provided at this point.

Step 6

Submit Full Proposal

Prepare and submit your complete research proposal, including detailed methodology, budget, timeline, and implementation plan.

Step 7

Final Selection and Grant Agreement

Selected applicants will be notified and required to sign a formal Grant Agreement before project funding is disbursed.

REACH reserves the right to cancel this Call at any time without prior notice and/or to not issue any grants under this process.

All grants are subject to sufficient funds being made available to REACH by the funders International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

REACH has no obligation to issue any funds prior to the applicant returning a fully executed Grant Agreement to REACH.
