We want to give students a better experience at Monash University Malaysia (MUM) by helping them through their difficulties, dilemmas and anxieties.

Counselling is a confidential and free service for all students. Anyone can talk to a counsellor or psychologist and some of the reasons can be:

Counsellors and clinical psychologists do have overlapping and different expertise. Further reasons to see a clinical psychologist are Disability Support Services (DSS) registration and assessment, diagnosis and intervention of mental disorders.

We have a mix of counsellors and clinical psychologists in 2 locations, main campus (Sunway) and Clinical School Johor Bahru (CSJB) that caters to the specific needs.

*All MUM counsellors are licensed and registered with LKM. Clinical psychologists are registered with MSCP.

Here are some quick information about CHW:

Location : Student Hub, Building 3 Level 1

Business hours : Mondays to Fridays, 9.00am to 6.00pm

Counselling sessions : 9.00am - 5.00pm

It is advisable to make an appointment in advance, but in case of emergencies, an immediate appointment may be arranged. *If you are unable to keep an appointment, please delete the appointment in calendar or email prior to the appointment to cancel.
