Fee payment plan

If you’re having difficulty paying your course fees by the due date on your fees statement, you may be eligible for a fee payment plan.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the payment plan, you need to:

• be a full-fee paying student
• not have any overdue fees from a previous fee period
• apply before the due date on your fees statement
• be able to meet the due dates set out in the table below.

Not eligible

You will not qualify for a fee payment plan if:

• you’re enrolled in an English Language Program
• you’re a Monash Online student
• you’re a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) student
• your fees are sponsored
• you need the fee payment plan for Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) or any administrative fees
• you don’t believe you can meet the due dates set out in the table below.

Apply in WES

We'll email your Monash student account within two working days to let you know the outcome of your application. If approved, your fee payment plan due dates will appear on your fees statement.

If you’re not eligible for a fee payment plan, you won’t be able to apply in WES.

• To appeal a decision, submit an enquiry through MoVA and upload documents to support your appeal.We'll email your Monash student account within five working days with the outcome of your appeal.
• If you’re unable to pay your full semester fees before the due date, you should submit an enquiry through MoVA to discuss your enrolment options before 11.59pm (Melbourne time) on the census date.If you’re experiencing extreme financial difficulty you may be eligible to apply for a further extension on your fee payment plan.To apply, you’ll need to:All fees must be paid by the due date listed on your most recent fees statement.We'll email your Monash student account within five working days to let you know the outcome of your request.

1. supporting documents showing a change in your circumstances that were outside your control and have led to difficulty paying your fees
2. supporting documents showing that you're able to pay your outstanding fees (e.g. proof of income, bank statement of a family member paying your fees).
