The assessment of previous tertiary study for credit is managed within the framework of the University's credit transfer policy and the procedures made pursuant to that policy:
Students who have successfully completed tertiary study at another institution or Monash University may apply for credit. If previous study is assessed as being equivalent to Monash University units credit may be granted.
For undergraduate programs in engineering, a maximum of 96 points of credit transfer can be awarded towards the BE(Hons).
Applications and closing date
Applications for credit transfer where there are current precedents will normally be assessed within ten working days. A longer period may be required, where full assessment is required, particularly at peak admission and enrolment times.
