2026 Handbook6 credit pointsLevel 5Intercultural Studies
Last checked: 23 Aug 2026 UTCOverview
In this unit, you will explore how discourses of equity, diversity and inclusion invite us to rethink current leadership models. You will examine how intersectionality challenges dominant views of leadership, and re-imagine new representations of leadership across cultures. As part of the unit, you will develop professional capabilities to demonstrate inclusive and intercultural leadership capabilities across different contexts. You will identify and critically assess your own biases and cultural lenses and equip yourself with knowledge to adapt and adjust in contexts of superdiversity. The unit will enable you to consider how alternative models of leadership can create and sustain more equitable and inclusive workplaces in a global context.
