Every story takes the reader on a journey. In this foundation subject you will experiment and discover your literary passions through the formative space of the writer's workshop. Through reading, writing, discussion and creative play, you will explore different modes of storytelling. You will also be introduced to a range of tools to activate and develop your creative writing.

Learning outcomes
- read and write a range of creative forms with confidence and playfulness;
- participate effectively in a creative writing workshop;
- use imaginative, critical and creative strategies to recognise and deploy imagery, characterisation, setting and narrative;
- articulate creative processes by engaging with influences.
