The unit aims to equip you with global leadership skills which will enable you to effectively engage in global networks. Introducing you to Cultural Intelligence, the unit will provide critical tools for intercultural management, a key competency for studying and working in transnational environments. You will complete guided intercultural interactions in and outside classroom, in order to produce written self-reflection on your cultural experience. Regardless of disciplinary background, activities proposed to you in this unit will provide you with knowledge and strategies required for successful engagement in diverse settings. Fostering crucial graduate attributes such as cross-cultural collaboration, teamwork, cultural awareness and critical thinking, this unit will enable you to successfully navigate cultural differences in global challenges and opportunities.

- Apply principles of cross- and intercultural engagement in various contexts.

Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher directed learning, peer directed learning and online engagement.
