Overview

In this unit, you will learn what social justice issues are in contemporary social sciences, why social scientists study social justice issues, and how we study them. You will gain insights into a diversity of online and offline methods used to research social justice issues. You will undertake an extensive review of the relevant academic literature on a topic of your choice and design a research proposal to study this topic.

  4. examine critical and theoretical debates on a social justice issue;
  5. evaluate the extant literature on a social justice issue;
  6. design a research proposal that justifies methodological approaches and choice of social justice issue.
