Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 288 hours per semester. As this is a self-directed project, the spread of this workload equates to roughly 3 days a week of individual effort towards the project, with a key part of this workload including separate weekly meetings with your client, academic supervisor and project team, as well as working collaboratively with your project team to develop project deliverables, alongside your independent study. Independent study may include associated research, assessment and preparation for scheduled activities. Scheduled workshops (masterclasses) also contribute to this workload, supporting the development of project and consulting skills. Please note, attendance at the workshops is optional but highly recommended. Learning activities may include a combination of teacher directed, industry/expert guest directed, peer directed, and online engagement activities. You are expected to complete all pre-class activities prior to your scheduled workshop, and post-class activities should be completed after your scheduled workshop.
