Overview

This unit equips you with the knowledge and analytical skills to evaluate, structure, and manage financing for start-ups, high-growth ventures, and innovation-driven enterprises. Integrating corporate finance principles with entrepreneurial contexts, it addresses the full venture lifecycle, from identifying and assessing business opportunities to financial planning, valuation, capital raising, and exit strategies. You will explore funding sources such as venture capital, private equity, and alternative financing, and develop capabilities in projecting financial performance, valuing early-stage ventures, and managing growth. The unit prepares you to make informed financial decisions as entrepreneurs, investors, or advisors, in navigating the risks and opportunities inherent in dynamic, uncertain business environments.

Workload
