The Biomedical Science Education Research unit offers a focused exploration of the intersection between biomedical science and education, providing you with the opportunity to develop education research skills. You will delve into educational theories and research methodologies, honing your critical evaluation abilities and data analysis skills. Practical application is emphasised by designing and executing research proposals tailored for biomedical science education, including research question formulation, data collection methods selection, and ethical considerations. Projects will include a review of the current literature and a synthesis of the project vital findings. You will use quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques to interpret research results, with an eye to making evidence-based decisions.
