Students will attend advanced compulsory coursework sessions including non-assessable introductory programs, and assessable coursework components relevant to pharmaceutical science. The coursework will be taught across the research themes. Students will undertake coursework study equivalent to a minimum 40 hours of contact which supports the research project they are conducting. The coursework program will be overseen by the Faculty Education Committee.

Assessment

This unit is 25% of the overall course mark. The assessment for this unit will generally be confined to first semester and include some of: tutorials, laboratories, research-specific lectures, non-assessable and assessable written work and oral presentations, or examinations, relevant to the coursework material. The other 75% of the course mark comes from the student's assessment in the BPS4002 unit.

Learning outcomes
- demonstrate advanced knowledge and technical skills in at least one area of pharmaceutical science

Workload
Lectures, workshops, laboratories, and oral presentations. The actual activities will depend on student-selected modules. The study will be staff- and self-directed. Students will undertake coursework study equivalent to a minimum 40 hours of contact which supports the research project they are conducting.
