This unit provides you with the opportunity to carry out a research project overseas as part of their final year of study in chemistry. The project may be carried out within a university or industry research laboratory by arrangement and approval of the Head of School. Allied with the practical work will be online tutorial materials and support on formal matters relating to OHSE, database searching, data analysis and presentation and report presentation.

Workload
Laboratory work is expected to be completed within a continuous five-week period. There will be 72 hours of self-directed study during the enrolled semester.
