Overview
In this unit, you will be introduced to the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE), including its role in your Initial Teacher Education (ITE) course and preparation for the teaching profession. You will learn about LANTITE requirements, testing processes and the literacy and numeracy capabilities expected of pre-service teachers. The preparedness check helps you identify your strengths and areas for development, use feedback to guide your preparation, and access relevant supports such as coaching, academic resources and learning tools. Completing the unit provides a common foundation for LANTITE preparation and supports the development of the capabilities needed for effective professional practice.

Workload
