This unit explores advanced database technologies, focusing on two key technologies: (i) Data Engineering, covering data transformation, cleaning, data warehouse architecture, and efficient design and querying for analytical tasks. (ii) Emerging Database Technologies, including introducing geospatial data, geospatial DBMS features, spatial data modelling, indexing, querying, and visualization techniques.
