Learning outcomes
- Critically examine, interpret and assess the regulation of economic and social activity in Australia and the effectiveness of different regulatory instruments and techniques;
- Critically examine, interpret and assess the role of regulators, how they fulfil this role and methods of holding regulators to account;
- Research and apply knowledge of current key regulatory issues and challenges;
- Use cognitive, technical, and creative skills to generate and evaluate at an abstract level complex ideas and concepts relevant to regulation.
- Demonstrate understanding of key regulatory issues and challenges through well-informed, proactive and persuasive written and/or oral communication.
