In the age of disruption, competitive landscapes become increasingly inter-connected, digital, and dynamic. To remain sustainable, an organisation’s business model and internal processes, including operations, marketing, and information management, must keep pace with environmental change. This unit explores the contemporary practice of strategic management and prepares participants to focus the organisation on the realisation of strategies and organisational forms that are adaptive, aligned, and agile. Building on foundational concepts and models of strategic management, the unit provides you with opportunities to reflect on your organisational experiences and to develop your understanding of strategy and business model design for agile organisations.
