This program aims to provide undergraduate students with ample opportunities to experience the diverse business contexts in Malaysia and Australia. In particular, the program will offer a critical look on how business can serve as a strong force for positive changes. It will focus on the influences of cultural, political, social, and local practices on business decisions. The four-week program comprises on- and off- campus seminars, workshops, and company visits in Malaysia and Australia. Through these exposures, you will have a valuable chance to meet and discuss with business and government leaders, entrepreneurs, and/or NGO executives about business practices.

Learning outcomes
- analyse the impact of contemporary issues, global trends and challenges on business practices
- appraise the social, political, and cultural norms of business practices between two countries
- develop a sustainable action plan to improve the current business practices
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Independent study may include associated readings, assessment and preparation for scheduled activities. You are expected to complete all pre-class activities prior to your scheduled class, and post-class activities should be completed after your scheduled class. Learning activities may include a combination of teacher directed, peer directed and online engagement activities.
