The Global Study Programs in Marketing (GSPM) offers you a hands-on learning experience that deepens your understanding of marketing in a global context through exposure to some of the world’s leading marketers. Building on your existing marketing knowledge, the program sharpens your critical thinking, cross-cultural communication, and global awareness. On the study trip, you will directly engage with marketing managers during company visits. You will also have the opportunity to experience diverse marketplaces and consumers, gaining valuable insights into how marketing drives business success and shapes society.

- identify and critically appraise diverse marketplaces and consumer behaviours to inform marketing decision-making across global contexts

- demonstrate effective cross-cultural communication through oral, visual, and written forms in marketing settings
- apply marketing theories and strategies to real-world contexts, using in-country insights to develop actionable and culturally informed marketing solutions.
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Independent study may include associated readings, assessment and preparation for scheduled activities. You are expected to complete all pre-class activities prior to your scheduled class, and post-class activities should be completed after your scheduled class. Learning activities may include a combination of teacher directed, peer directed and online engagement activities.
