Overview

This unit provides you with a foundational understanding of financial accounting principles and procedures. It covers key concepts such as bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis. You will develop essential skills in recording transactions, understanding financial reports, and applying accounting principles in business scenarios. Assessments include individual and group projects, tests, and financial analysis exercises to enhance practical application. By the end of the course, you will be able to compute financial statements, interpret financial data using key ratios, and apply accounting concepts to real-world business situations.
