This unit continues project work from MSI5921, building on the outcomes of the literature review phase. The focus is to identify action options, critically analyse and evaluate these in relation to available data and literature, and make recommendations in relation to the original project brief. The unit includes scheduled activities and tasks alongside the project work to enhance and develop professional skills. This unit culminates in an oral presentation and written research report which communicate the research outcomes and project recommendations in a professional form.

Learning outcomes
- Investigate and apply established professional practice relevant to the project;
- Critically analyse potential outcomes of options for change, using appropriate data analysis and established theory and practice;
- Communicate the findings, implications and limitations of the project in a clear and professional manner, in written and verbal forms;
- Collaborate effectively to deliver a major project.
Workload
This unit will be delivered over a period of 6 weeks. This will include independent self-paced work on online materials and assignments across the teaching period. It will also include synchronous (live) classes. These will be four 2-hour online evening workshops, and one 2-day on-campus intensive (16 hours in total). The combination of classes and independent work will total 144 hours.
