This unit is designed to provide you with industry experience and work-based learning. Through the placement, you will be able to apply mathematical thinking, modelling techniques and statistical skills acquired throughout the Masters programme to solve real-life problems in industry. In the process you will acquire invaluable experience and knowledge on the functioning of an industrial workplace. You must complete at least 360 hours of placement in a relevant industry.

You must complete at least 360 hours of placement in a relevant industry. Remaining hours are for preparing reports, presentations, and other assessments.
