This unit focuses on the learning approach to project management. You will explore a range of contemporary methods, tools and techniques to support continuous learning spanning the project life cycle. By critically applying agile approaches, you will work in a team to develop your ability to adapt, respond to and drive project innovation through reflective and evidence-based practices from project development through to delivery.

Learning outcomes
- analyse project learning methods, techniques, tools, strategies and protocols in complex organisational contexts
- evaluate agile project learning decisions related to scope, tasks, stakeholders, resources and impact in complex organisational contexts
- design agile project learning approaches in response to project life cycle activities in complex organisational contexts
- critically reflect on agile project learning approaches for improved project outcomes in complex organisational contexts.
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Independent study may include associated readings, assessment and preparation for scheduled activities. You are expected to complete all pre-class activities prior to your scheduled class, and post-class activities should be completed after your scheduled class. Learning activities may include a combination of teacher directed, peer directed and online engagement activities.
