This clinical placement unit requires you to complete a 5-week full time clinical placement in an acute, subacute/rehabilitation or community setting. Through supervised practice, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment and client education, whilst working as part of a larger health care team. The professional, ethical and legal aspects of physiotherapy will be applied to practice, providing you with an opportunity to develop technical, clinical, personal and professional skills. Additional study modules on quality improvement, risk and patient safety will supplement your clinical placement experience.
