As a team, you will collaboratively design and develop solutions to your industry partner’s real-world problem. You will gain exposure to professional practice and build industry partner relationships. This unit will build your practical skills in project design and management, negotiation, workplace communication and innovation. You will generate industry-relevant data and design solutions to the challenges presented by your industry partner, You will present your findings in a group as a written Challenge project report and oral defence.

- Articulate your solution(s) by using persuasive professional communication and presentation skills.
Workload
Your workload is an average of 36 hours of study per week comprised of independent research, meetings, and workshops. This unit delivers 50% of the full-time fourth-year program for the BSc Advanced - Global Challenges (Honours). Scheduled activities will include a combination of face-to-face classes, purpose developed online modules, research colloquia, seminars, and meetings with your Industry and Academic supervisors. The unit includes two intensive weeks of induction in the first two weeks of February.
