Learning outcomes
- Describe the role of technology in contemporary sustainable development practices;
- Apply critical thinking skills in the integration of technological systems in urban design processes and outcomes;
- Demonstrate skill development in the application of GIS in urban design processes;
- Demonstrate competence in communication and presentation skills of GIS software;
- Understand and apply the rules of occupational health and safety appropriate to the unit of study.
Workload
12 hours per week including 3 contact hours. The remaining 9 hours are to be used for self and group learning activities.
