Deepening your understanding of how technology and the law interact, this double degree produces engineers skilled in the legal, corporate and commercial fields. The need for legally trained engineering graduates continues to grow, with opportunities arising in areas such as project management, research and development, consulting and construction law. The study of law develops problem-solving skills and powers of analysis. It teaches precise and imaginative use of language. The study of engineering develops problem solving skills, systems thinking and technical savvy.
Structure
You must complete 156 credit points comprising all units in Part A and 72 credit points from Part B as described in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree. Note. You must complete 54 credit points of units from Part A as described in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree before undertaking law elective units.
You must complete 168 credit points comprising all of Parts A, B, C, D and E (24 credit points) as described in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), and satisfy the continuous professional development requirements (See ENG0001 or ENG0002).
